Got this album after reading this - thank you! I love it and it does have its own sound but the harmonies are very very reminiscent of certain songs by Orgone Box (Sheffield's own Rick Corcoran) and Cotton Mather.
I'm listening to it right now and it feels like a place I've been before, a GOOD place.
