That’s not a record I’m familiar with at all but I’ve got it in now it sounds pretty wild! Thanks for the tip Ryan, and glad you liked these new picks.
Really liked the Laughing Chimes and Goblyn tracks, thanks for turning me on to them. Definitely a Faith-era vibe to the Rats on Rafts track (hearing shades of All Cats Are Grey)
I love all these! My fave was probably Prism Shores' song, but these are all amazing!! Haven't listened to anything that new as of late, but a friend turned me on to Grace Jone's Nightclubbing recently and it's been on repeat for a few weeks now
They are one of those can’t miss labels where I will listen to everything they release. I’d have to go back to Kids on a Crime Spree’s “Fall in Love Not in Line” (2022) for an anything close to bad. It was fun but a little patchy.
I’m looking forward to hearing the whole record! You are putting out some great stuff! The Best Bets record was in my Top 50 last year and I liked a bunch of other Meritorio releases.

Looking forward to Ethel Cain’s new album, out on January 8. Here’s the first single: https://open.spotify.com/track/2Iy2Qj5kTsmXAndBnOWdy4

See David, this is how you get your itch to discuss this stuff out. Because I'm still not ready in the slightest.
I’ll resist the urge to ask which one you like best then! Hope things calm down work-wise for you soon.
At this point I have to believe that Slumberland is incapable of releasing a bad record. When’s the last time they missed?
Golden age of Jangle? I sure hope so. I’m 100% here for it!
